Fred Guerdin is an independent Belgian photographer working between editorial, documentary and institutional photography.

For more than two decades, he has collaborated with European press agencies, magazines and television networks, working in environments where access is limited and moments cannot be repeated.

His assignments have taken him across the world — from Afghanistan to Africa and throughout Asia — documenting people, institutions and situations where timing, trust and precision are essential.

His work is often built on immersion, allowing him to move beyond observation and establish the human connections that give his images their authenticity.

Alongside his international reportage, Fred Guerdin regularly works with executives, public figures and organizations that require images that are both credible and immediately usable for communication.

He received an award at the International Political Poster Competition for his photographic work on gold miners in Burkina Faso and presented an immersive reportage at the Festiphoto Festival in Annecy in 2017.
